Day 19: Look What Came In...

Dave got a call this morning from Kay's that my wedding band came in from being sized and engraved. I'm so excited...I can't wait to wear it, permanently. The engraving says "u will always be." They couldn't fit in 'you' so they put 'u.' Just waiting for his to come in and then that is one more thing I can check off my list with only 6 weeks left.

Day 18: Finally!!!

Dave's wonderful handy work! We just got a new air conditioner because the other one was crap! We finally don't need our living room a/c and additional fans constantly running. And it works AWESOME! After installing the new a/c, he fixed the towel holder in the bathroom...and he says he isn't handy.

Day 17: New Pillows

Ahhhhh...brand new pillows. When we get new pillows, we beat them until they are so flat we constantly have stiff necks. We finally bought new, fluffy pillows made of feathers and down. Hopefully these last much longer. As I was putting the pillow cover on, Ollie was putting his head down on the other end of the pillow, testing it out. He loves to steal our pillows when we get up lol. It was soooo cute. I wish I had my camera for that.

Day 16: New Work Uniform

Today was definitely nothing special. Went to work with Dave today and while in Connecticut, we stopped to buy me some new scrubs for work. I'm glad I get to wear scrubs and sneakers, but overall I'm just not happy. I'm extrememly happy about being with Dave and getting married and having my puppies, but the whole work situation and not being in school makes me just angry. I've worked in a medical office since I was 19 and the few months I worked in a pet store was FANTASTIC! It was something totally different and fun. I absolutely HATE working in an office. And I hate the fact that I haven't (and probably won't) have a chance to go back to school for what I actually want to do. I've just been angry alot lately with not going anywhere as far as work (it will never be anything I can go farther with) and not going to school. I wasted time and money for my associate's degree in something I don't even want to do, it was only approved by my mother. Plus, I really just want to start having a family and I want to move, move somewhere both Dave and I don't have a history. Somewhere we can have a new, fresh start. But oh well...I guess everything will have to wait...

Day 15: My Not-So-Naked Finger

So today was very exciting! Dave got the call that my engagement ring was ready to be picked up!! Yay I don't have to feel so naked anymore!!! Plus today I also dropped off his wedding band to get engraved, my wedding band is not back yet. Ah, one more thing I can check off my list of things that need to be done for the wedding. Still too many things to do before October 13th...starting to freak out inside a little bit, lol that hasn't come out vocally yet. I'm going to call and set up my first dress fitting. So there will be pictures of that, just not on my blog...future hubby reads it lol. Anyway, last day at my job tomorrow. Training for the new one starts Wednesday and then I officially start on the 23rd...thankfully. I'll finally be able to do things other than get home from work, eat dinner, and then go to sleep. I'll be home at decent times now! Also congrats to our friends Amanda and Joey, they had their baby boy today...Daniel Michael Wingster. Can't wait to meet him!

Day 14: Sleepy Ollie

Today I didn't really do much of anything. I watched tv and cuddled with the puppies and searched the web for random stuff and of course...wedding stuff. I cooked dinner today and I actually meant to take a picture of it...I thought it looked really good...garlic and herb pork chops with mashed potatoes. Lol but I forgot to grab the camera when I was serving. Oops. So while laying in bed, I was downloading a game...Harry Potter Spells on my iPod...Ollie curled up next to me and I though it was so cute. He falls asleep so easily and is dead to the world. Lol his body and legs and paws are so limp.

Day 13: Happy Friday the 13th...

Well, normally I have a pretty good day on Friday the 13th. Usually nothing crazy goes wrong...but not today. Next week is supposed to be my last week and they screwed me out of two days worth of work. Hopefully I can start my other job sooner. It was just insane today...one of the doctors FLIPPED OUT on one of my coworkers in front of some patients. Glad I'm done with that place. The best part of my day (other than leaving work and going home) was having my Starbucks. Best Starbucks drink ever is the iced (or even hot) nonfat chai latte!!! Always makes me feel better and I love the mixture of spices!! So DELISH!!!!

Time for me to go sit in the living room while Dave watches his weird cartoon shows...that are not even funny...more like gross and disgusting. Personally I'd rather be around when he watches his weird anime. *rolls eyes*
